Casa Verano
Casa Verano is situated high atop the historic West Bluff and was built in the late 1800's, when the well-to-do built splendid homes on the island, transported their families here by railroad and ferry and then spent the summer months enjoying the splendor of Mackinac Island. This home has been in the Goodwin family for most of those years.
Casa Verano offers spectacular views of the Straits of Mackinac, the Mackinac Bridge and Round Island Lighthouse. You can feel the history that fills this elegant home and surrounding grounds - it takes you back in time to the turn of the century.

The spacious living room area has a fireplace and baby grand piano. Large windows overlook the bridge and sparkling water below. A sunroom adjoins the living room and first floor bedroom with bath. An open staircase framed by beautiful woodwork takes you to the second floor bedrooms.
Enjoy your meals in the family dining room with the original table and chairs from a century ago. The kitchen is accessible from the dining room by passing through the original butler's chambers.
